PRO-STOCK 700 Series push rods are manufactured from Elgin’s special 4130 seamless chrome-moly material for the added column strength and light weight required for hundreds of popular performance applications. These high-quality components feature 5/16-inch diameter and .065-in. wall thickness and are ideal for spring pressures in excess of 300 pounds. All Elgin push rods are produced in the company’s Elgin, Ill., manufacturing complex.

In addition to 700 Series push rods, the Elgin PRO-STOCK line includes 500 Series performance push rods, which offer 20 percent increased column strength over stock; and premium 800 Series push rods, which feature a chrome-moly material with enhanced surface hardness, an d offset ends for increased cam lift.
